Manufacturing technologies of nanofibrous structures

  • Development of two production lines for linear composite materials with nanofibre additives used for example for the development of 3D air and water filters, surgical thread with a nanofibre component. Testing of the workability of linear composite materials with nanofibre components in flat textiles on traditional textile machinery (Nanoprogress cluster).
  • Development of technologies and devices for the assembly of filters with nanofibre materials, including controlling software (Nanologix SE).
  • Development of devices for the production of nanofibres using centrifugal spinning of polymer solutions for the application of nanofibres to ball production (Gala a.s.).
  • Development of a miniature version of a device for the production of nanofibres using centrifugal spinning of polymer solutions for testing purposes (Pardam Nano4fibers s.r.o.).
  • Laboratory device for the production of flat composite nanofibrous membranes for the development of textile nanomembranes with incorporated activated charcoal particles, creating a new sorption material (Nanoprogress cluster).
  • Design of a functional production line model for the manufacture of flat composite nanofibrous materials, which was used to produce materials capturing viruses and bacteria and applied to the production of personal protective equipment against COVID19. The resulting material was delivered to the Liberec region for the production of masks and filters. The new device was capable of producing the material for about 6000 masks a day under laboratory conditions, or up to 20 000 filters.

  • Devices for the study of the hydraulic characteristics of equipment. Optimisation of the hydrodynamics of deposited surface layers on transparent boards (Polycasa, 2018). Intensified viscose and viscose fibre processing technologies (Glanzstoff Bohemia, 2017-2020). Measurement of the rheological properties of the delivered samples of collagenous materials on a discharge rheometer for the design of extrusion heads (Devro, 2016).
  • Heat exchangers. Analysis of heat gains in the production hall (Dr. Oetker, 2018). Estimate of the heat gains of select devices and technologies (Johnson Controls, 2017). Determination of the necessary cooling output of a CK tank (BohemiaChlad, 2017). Process characteristics of the ST3H heat exchanger (Tenez, 2016).
  • Evaporators and crystallisers. Design of the process of KCl and NaCl fractional crystallisation from a water solution and the conditions to ensure fractional crystallisation (Smolo, 2018-2019). Design of parameters for a vacuum crystallisation evaporator (Aquacomp Hard, 2016).
  • Dryers. Development of a new type of spray dryer with nebuliser head for the production of nanopowders (DBH Technologies, 2019-2020). Optimisation of the ionex dehydration process (Membrain, 2017).
  • Absorption and adsorption devices. A study into changes to an existing absorption cooling system and recommendations for changes (Synthos Kralupy, 2018).
  • Reactors and bioreactors, devices for the hydrothermal pre-treatment of raw materials. Development of a production line to demonstrate the production of biochar by thermal decomposition from water treatment plant sludge (Agmeco, 2018).
