Research Infrastructure for 21st century Mechanical Engineering (RIME21)

Large research infrastructure RIME21 is proposed as a distributed research infrastructure with a focus on improving the effectiveness of research collaboration and the coordinated provision of unique facilities and the functionality of users in an open-access (OA) regime. RIME21 comprises i) Single Point Access (SPA) with an administered “leading host institution” and ii) the capacity of individual nodes (NODES).

RIME21 is situated exclusively in the Czech Republic (Brno, Praha, Ostrava, Plzeň, Liberec, Ref. Map of participating LRI RIME21 workplaces).

Partners host institutions
Agreement on Mutual Cooperation in Preparing and Creating a New Proposal of a Large Research Infrastructure for the Purposes of the Ex-Ante International Assessment of Large Research Infrastructures of the Czech Republic in 2021 was concluded and entered into force on 26th November 2020.
